I never said to find someone else. I’m saying these posters that are making excuses for him missing the kick or saying that we shouldn’t have put him in that position are ridiculous. He’s a kicker. He should have made that kick. He didn’t. It sucks. However, that’s his damn job. Next time we’re in that position, you trot him right back out there to make the kick again. Field goal kickers have to make kicks under pressure. Just quick making excuses for him.

I see. No excuse for him. He choked. It sucked. The only slight grace I give him is the inexcusable false start there (for what was likely running to whatever spot on the field he wanted). And not trying to get a few extra yards on 3rd down with 7 seconds left.

Did Joey get sacked any? I don’t think he did. That’s a massive change for us against Georgia.

He did at least once. He may have fallen across the LOS, but he was effectively sacked.

When has been the last time we looked competitive against GA? When was the last time we’ve been on the edge of seats until the end of a game with them? When was the last time that we truly believed?


I’m pizzed about the outcome, but I see hope, and I haven’t seen that in years before CJH.


Now, do belly aching and gnashing of teeth, but I have hope and belief that I haven’t had in this team in a bit.


Time to watch the gatas to get embarrassed again.

I want to rant about all the stupid things that lost us that game because I’m heartbroken. Football is stupid. I’ll just leave it at that.

Sorry for my negativity. I didn’t expect our defense to fall off a cliff and it isn’t just injuries. It’s terrible subs and other decisions too. Offense really exceeding expectations and a surprise. Hate we coached scared at the end instead of going for the jugular. That loss hurt and felt we gave one that we shouldn’t.

My main complaints are Heupel morphing into Josh Majorrs at the end when have a Mid kicker. Playing Ben Bolton and others on key drives in the fourth quarter. First time I have been really pissed after a game.

Like any close SEC game there were lots of woulda, coulda, shoulda moments. It was definitely a heart breaking loss that we had our chances. All in all I thought the officiating was fair. Too me the 4th and 6 Georgia converted the touchdown was the play of the game. Absolutely perfect throw and catch. I hate Georgia and our margin of error for the playoffs is now very small but we had a field goal to win at the end of regulation which isn’t all bad. Anyway the sun will come up tomorrow.

All true, I just can’t blame the defense specifically for that run in OT. We had it defended and a hold directly enabled the run.

That shouldn’t have happened, but it was still just a 43 yard FG. He should have made it. He’s made them before, and he’ll make similar game-winning kicks in the future.

I am absolutely pissed about this game, probably 3rd most pissed behind georgia State and uscjr in ‘22. This loss will sting in so many ways, there are so many plays that even if one ended differently we could have won

Admire him for taking it on his shoulders, but he easily played well enough for them to have won the game. Banks, really bad defensive execution by normally good players, having the wrong RB run the ball numerous times, and a scared kid for a kicker lost the game. The players played hard and fought through a lot of adversity without even mentioning the shiz officiating. Funny how they always look the other way with UGA when it comes to holding on the O line and in their secondary on D.

But why in the world are they not throwing to Brazzell and Staley every other play? Had they done so they could have outscored them.

Play well enough the rest of the season to earn a rematch.

Staley is a really good WR. Matthews is not really living up to the 5 star hype. I don’t really care how athletic MM is. He drops way too many balls

The front 7 we played on UGA last possession was crazy lol. I know we have to develop depth but I was surprised to see who we had out there.

Defense in OT got screwed on a terrible missed hold. If Georgia is starting 1st and 20, we might have still found a way.

I saw it too. They got away with holding on the edge a lot for the entire game! It’s certainly frustrating that we can never get those calls.

Tough loss but we are UGA’s peer. Should have won that game. Even in ‘22 with Hendon UGA was clearly a level above us. We gave them everything they wanted.

Plus we get at least 3 of our stars back soon.

I dont recall staley dropping many passes. Matthew's for sure needs to work on catching the ball.
