If they would have centered the ball I'd agree with you.
If we were watching MTSU on TN Tech, i'd agree on centering the ball. This is the SEC though. And it was obvious he was missing that kick no matter where it was on the field.

He coached scared on multiple occasions. You can’t be a chickenshít against Kirby Smart. The punt at midfield that they drove the field on, and especially the decision not to center the ball on the field goal at the end were scared decisions, and you cannot coach scared against teams like that. There were other issues in the game, but the head coach’s in game decisions cannot be an issue if you are going to beat a powerhouse.
Didn’t need to get the clock down to 1 SECOND!! Kick it !!!!

You also have to just make a 40 yard kick. Nothing else matters at that point in the game.

Whether this is true or not (it’s not), you at least try. If he misses the kick when it’s centered, then you can’t question anything that Heupel decided. But getting scared that you can’t go 2 snaps without a penalty is just a chickenshít decision.

It was longer than that. And Heupel showed you he wanted the ball centered by the call of Aguilar running the ball to center in the false start play. He got scared and let panic rule his decision making. You best believe that sort of thing filters down.

He did try and the extra O-lineman jumped offsides. At that point, the kicker needs to go win the game.

This loss was in Tim Banks. Get real. 38 points to the worst offense in the sec. Come tf on
Georgia is not the worst offense in the SEC. I’ll bet you whatever amount of money you’d like to wager. I’m not a Banks fan, but Heupel choked on singular decisions that could have changed the game.

I guarantee you UGA will not sniff 38 points in another conference game this season. Heupel made Kirby’s defense look like a joke. The defense lost the game. Period. They had no business scoring more that 14-17 points
