'25 Recruiting forum: Official Georgia vs Tennessee Pre-game/Game Thread

A lot of people in here will be eating crow when we get our defensive guys healthy.

We have a dude at QB and finally some difference makers at WR
Agree with this, if we can get Hobbs, McCoy and Moi back the D will look a lot different. Offense is way better than expected. Should’ve won the game, but all the goals still in front of us

Oh my god you guys, most of these guys didn't know each other 9 months ago and yall expect them to play perfectly in cohesion against a top 5 team. Football is the sport with the most growing pains for young players.
Is what I said wrong? With our starting 11 and better third down coaching you think we still lose because “they didn’t know each other 9 months ago”?

SMH.

The PI’s on 3rd and long, the drop passes, the missed FG, the playing conservative on 2nd to last drive. We were the better team today even with missing 4 very important defensive players. Just choked it away. That’s what hurts. We still control our destiny and will be in the playoffs

Dline feasted, linebackers and Turrentine is your problem.
Wish we’d at least given Beasley more plays today to see if the increase in athleticism helps at all. We rotated the safeties way more last year so idk why we haven’t nearly as much this year so far. Turrentine can still start since he’s a senior but rotate guys like last year.

Some of you are undervaluing our offense too. We just put 41pts on a coach who is considered the greatest defensive mind actively coaching. We did it with a QB no one had ever heard of 3.5months ago.

We get our D back up to power and we're going to the playoffs.
We’re in the playoffs even without McCoy, moi, etc. our offense is elite and our defense is still solid. With the 4 guys back and we’re beating uga by 2 scores or more

Every damn one of us picked Georgia to win this game before the season started. If you'd told me then we'd lose by 3 in OT I'd be happy, and so would 99% of you.

And to the folks sh*tting on Gilbert, stfu. He's a sophomore. He didn’t false start to back himself up 5 yards. And he shouldn't have been out there in that position in the first place but we allowed a 4th and long TD AND a 2pt conversion to tie it. It's not Gilbert's fault. It's a TEAM sport. A freshman CB didn't execute, a backup guard false started, and a sophomore kicker missed a kick. Young player mistakes = Team loss.

That's football.

And now we have playoffs. Season ain't over. Let's go to Atlanta.

Man I feel for Gilbert! Kickers can be champ or chump! Big stage, big game on the line, my heart goes out to him. My oldest was a hard nose rb, would put the game and team on his shoulders, my youngest is a kicker, I get it.
We’ll be aight! GBO!
Ps, F*** Kirby smart, cannot stand that dbag!

We win going away healthy. Defensive injuries speak for themselves. And Shumarov isn’t on the field to false start in his own stadium with 10 seconds left. Oh well maybe we get healthier this year
