Charlie Kirk Shot and killed

Once again, ask your law school for a refund if that’s as nuanced of an understanding as you have of that case
I have no idea what their motivation was. But if they felt that Kirk's racism conflicted with their sincere religious belief in the equality of all humans, I'm pretty sure they could have said no.

I 100% support the right of private business to choose… who they do business with.

Welcome to the side of Liberty, sister.
If I recall, that was a free exercise case and not a free speech case. I think some on the court wanted to decide it on free speech grounds, but they weren't the majority.

But a lot on the right wanted to read it as a "I shouldn't have to do business in connection with causes I disagree with" case.

His own Vice President even compared him to Hitler, although to be fair, he probably meant that as a compliment.
Meh, that tweet and mindset is no different than the Trumpers who say - “yea, well, he’s not as bad as Biden”.

Really? That’s the standard? “Not as bad as Biden”?

Really? The standard here is “well, Trump does it too”?

No private entity to should be compelled by the State to enter into commercial transaction with anyone.

Office Depot shouldn’t have to make up an excuse about “propaganda”. They should simply be able to say “no thank you, we decline your business”.

I have no issue with them being fired. Employment at will.

My point was that the general right wing view is that if a business disagrees with the message they're being asked to assist with (a gay wedding cake/political flyer) they shouldn't be required to do it. It's about whether Republicans are taking a principled position or an ideological position. And my guess is the latter.

I’m pretty sure you are wrong since they violated company policy
They're not the owners. They're employees at will. Of course they can be fired. That's a completely different issue from whether the business can be compelled to print a message it disagrees with.

The cake case was free exercise, but a lot of Republicans want to extend it to free speech, arguing the above.
