How did that split come about? I know JCM was full on AAA back in ‘79, then the division for the largest schools. Now they are 2A.

To answer your 1st question, there's no JHS. I don't keep up w/ Jackson Central Merry HS.
The merger started slowly in 1969 but it was completed by 1970.

Believe it or not but I've only had one wreck & that was in Sept of 1966.
I was making a left turn (while raining) & the windows were all fogged up.
I was maybe going 5 mph when I hit an old man I didn't see going straight.
