Now that they have caught the suspect, I am finally able to start letting go of my anger.
And I am left with a profound sadness not just for Charle‘s family; but for the shooter’s family. I cannot even BEGIN to fathom what it was like for a father to have to be responsible for turning in his son. And I feel sadness (not sympathy mind you); for the shooter. He appears to have once been a normal kid doing normal kid stuff. He should be sitting around with his friends playing video games, getting married, and starting a family instead of facing a ruined future.
