Popular Influencer Claims He Was Denied Entry To New York City Club After Posting About Charlie Kirk's Death
An influencer has claimed he was denied entry to a private members club in
New York City because he paid tribute to right wing commentator Charlie Kirk
following his assassination.
Social media star Kyle Forgeard alleged that he was turned away from The Twenty Two in Manhattan by a doorman who supposedly took issue with his public message of condolence to Kirk.
Once it was confirmed that father of two Kirk had died after being shot in the neck by a lone gunman at
Utah Valley University, Forgeard had shared a message acknowledging his death.
Alongside a photo of the pair engaged in conversation, he wrote: 'Absolutely speechless. Rest in peace Charlie.'
It was this message that Forgeard claims got him refused from the establishment.
Forgeard, who shared his allegations with his 2.2 million followers on Instagram, added that the rest of his party was allowed in.
Posting on his story, he claimed: 'Club doorman at 22 club in NYC let the entire group I was with in tonight and they only denied me... doorman makes a comment to my face about me posting my condolences for Charlie Kirk.
