YeahOh BS.
You believe it’s “morally acceptable” to “do anything” to random, no-name ICE Agents.
Can’t imagine what you thought was “morally acceptable” to do the political figure you hold most responsible for the current discourse around illegal aliens.
Because you are ignorant of their existence, you don't think they exist. I've seen many videos of them hitting the gun ranges talking about doing stuff just like this. To them, anyone who is not a rabid liberal is Hitler. It would be a unicorn Antifa member based on what I’ve seen. The ones I’ve seen over the years don’t even know how to throw rocks
What we’re experiencing is the fallout from closing the “horrible” mental institutions and just turning people loose into society, many with no homes, and no mental capacity to care for themselves or think rationally. If you look at our rates of violent crime, we're actually getting safer.
What we're experiencing is that the smallest minds have the biggest megaphones.
Some of you people are sick!!
It’s almost as if you are defending this?
This thread reminds me of how stupidly and sheepishly people will blindly follow politics, right to the edge and over the cliff.
How disgusting some of you are and I don’t care if you’re democrat, republican or of this “offends” you.
People get murdered and it’s left wing this, right wing that...
Some of you need to step away from the political BS for a minute and actually try to become human again and have some damn sympathy for your fellow man, politics be damned!
I wouldn't compare this to MLKjr but will add that some of what MLKjr advocated; particularly content of character instead of color of skin is directly contrasted to the orthodoxy of intersectionality and it's foundations in DEI philosophies. IOW, he was saying things that quite a few on the left would find highly objectionable and they may not consider that fighting for equality.
I agree to a point. What we’re experiencing is the fallout from closing the “horrible” mental institutions and just turning people loose into society, many with no homes, and no mental capacity to care for themselves or think rationally.
But those evil mental institutions though...
This guy gets it, and he luvs the Vols...good guy in my book.Race wars? What race war or wars?
I am a white man with 2 black sisters. I promise you that none of us are at war with ANYONE of this world or country. I don't even know of anyone in a "race war". Because it doesn't exist.
TURN OFF the Leftist Media. Do not believe the lies on ABC,NBC, CBS, CNN or even FOX. FOX has never said there was a race war in the US...but they do lie also. Turn that crap off. Get to know REAL people around you. They arent at war with ANYONE unless deployed over seas in the military. Give God a chance. Go to Church man. God is LOVE.
I will pray that you see the truth and tune out the lies. God bless you and yours
Someone asked why this was bothering people so much. This bothers me because Charlie didn’t hold office, he didn’t make policy. He engaged people on college campuses in a way that allowed for the market place of ideas . I think that his ideas bothered some, but I also think that there’s nothing wrong with the idea of being rooted in your family and having faith. Those are things that when executed make the world a better place. I have 2 small children, knowing that 2 small kids lost their father and a wife lost her husband bc of words is pathetic . Only words. Not retribution for actions that killed innocent civilians in a far away part of the world, but words that shared his views on how he lived. I don’t know who or what the equivalent on the left is, but I would have the same feelings towards them if the situation was reversed . There is no place for the actions today.Kirk has lots of videos on youtube. Watch some. He was using his free speech rights to engage in civil exchanges. What he did was the SOLUTION- free exchange of ideals.
He was killed because his speech offended leftist ideas.
I've got a lot of hate in my heart, and there are indeed some who i would celebrate their deaths. But not like this. Not political ********.
There isn't anyone on this forum i hold any hate for, and though I might think this person or that person is an idiot, I like most everyone here in a we're all vols {even lg (you cant be here this long if you aint in the vols closet)}
I left Tennessee a decade ago for the Mid-Atlantic and this forum is kind of like my Mayberry, making me feel some connection still to where I was born. The political climate here kinda stinks bad enough(I dont mean its too far left or too far right, I mean its just so much finger pointing and link spamming and "these people here are always bad"!) that sometimes I consider leaving, but football season starts and it always brings me back.
For me personally; I’ve watched him for years not necessarily because I liked him or what he says but because of what he stood for. Open dialogue with people you disagree with, we’ve seen the dehumanizing and villainizing of people for a long time simply because they have different views and as a result we’re seeing people killed for it. 2 kids will grow up without a father because someone didn’t like his politicsNot to be callous towards the man, but why do so many of you feel an emotional connection to Charlie or his murder?
Are you referring to the Charlotte murder? If so, the audio file from the security camera clearly has him speaking "I killed that white woman".
Sounds race related to those paying attention.
