Trying...to not...be political. I don't watch any mainstream news channels...except for briefly during major events. But, don't throw them all in the same bucket. They are not all the same.

But the problem is that this thing you are complaining about is what Kirk does. It's how he blew up. It's impossible to separate him from what you're accusing the rest of the media of doing.

Somebody said he has been "dehumanized," which means to deny/deprive him positive human qualities. He has demonized entire groups. People dismiss him as a racist? OK, but he calls illegal immigrants "invaders," for example, as if they are here to destroy and plunder when they are almost entirely here to prosper via voluntary market interaction. He is the most prominent right-wing media figure dripping in this tactic that you are attributing only to the left.
