President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

Name the last POTUS that sees and thrives on anything other than division?
There are many valid reasons to be critical of Bill Clinton, and his presidency, but during his 2nd term in office, there was a great deal of collaboration between Clinton and Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich.

They were able to get productive, bi-partisan legislation passed, which involved compromises from both parties. The tryst with the intern, and the subsequent impeachment over-shadowed what truly was a vibrant time of peace and prosperity for the country.

We have seen nothing close to that under Donald Trump. Despite the Republican Party having majority control of both chambers of Congress, for the 2nd time, Donald Trump gets very little legislation passed. His means of governance is still almost entirely by way of executive orders.

.... and he delights in his petty little jabs at cities and states that he thinks of as being "blue." I don't think Donald Trump thinks of American citizens on the west coast and northeast as his fellow countrymen. Every indication he gives, would lead one to believe that he thinks of those people only as his enemies.

Perhaps your definition of "unifying" differs from Webster's. When I speak of unifying, I'm using theirs.

Donald Trump is not interested in doing anything but pandering to the population that voted for him. There is no compromise with those who are ideologically opposed. Trump only sees "red" and "blue" states, where something which punishes a blue state is considered a "victory" for him.

That is what "Trump's America" is all about. A bitterly divided country at war with itself.

So he’s no different than Obama?

Perhaps you don’t understand what is happening. Your side has decided to embrace crime and trannys. Not a unifying platform.

Do you have any of that on Sheffield St. ?
As opposed to the peace and tranquillity which took place at the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021? 😂

^^^^ You know ^^^^ .... the events that Trump granted full pardons for?

And your broad brush description of what Democrats "embrace" shows a childish simple-mindedness, consistent with the lack of thought typical of a Trump flunky.

The compromises came after the 1994 midterms where the Dems got shellacked and BC was looking down the barrel of being a 1 term president. Now to his credit Bill decided he liked being president more than getting his radical agenda passed and started to compromise. That spirit of compromise was pretty much tossed out the window in his second term.

That's not true. Clinton's 2nd term was full of compromise with productive, bi-partisan legislation passed. Would anything ever get done under Trump without executive orders? And the irony of that, is how critical he used to be of Barack Obama for signing too many executive orders.

He doesn't post links because he knows the majority of the time what he's posting is nothing but crap.
Pretty much seems to be the case here.

Kavanaugh: "To be clear, apparent ethnicity alone cannot furnish reasonable suspicion," he wrote.

that the lower court's restraining order went too far in restricting how Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents could carry out stops or questioning of suspected unlawful migrants.

Seems more like this is just saying the lower judge went to far with their rules. While agreeing that being brown alone isn't enough.

There is middle ground to be had. Neither side wants to admit it

You still talking about the already admitted Pelosi set up to make Trump look bad situation?

You literally support a side that supports what I said. Sorry. Facts.

I stayed in the velvet ropes after I entered through a door that was held open for me. All y’all have is a fabrication of J6.

We have the porous border and crime that we can refer to that shows how yall embrace crime. Good luck running on that.

There were 2 govt shutdowns during Clintons 2nd term, one being the longest ever in our history up to that time. There were only 3 major pieces of legislation passed in his second term.

He also had to play nice after getting a BJ in the Oral Office.

It was Barry Soetoro that pretty much drove a stake thru the heart of that kind of collaboration ever happening again.

Yeah but the Republicans will **** up that message. Just wait and see.

Sorry. That's nothing but an overly broad, blanket statement. Not a fact.

You are basically accusing me of making a blanket statement, that doesn't apply to every protestor at the Capitol on January 6, 2021 ..... which is fine and fair .... except that you have done the same thing yourself when claiming that "you literally support a side that supports what I said." You can't have it both ways. My point about Trump's January 6th pardons has always been that they should have been handled on a case-by-case basis. Those who were peaceful trespassers deserved a pardon, while those who could be seen on video committing acts of violence and vandalism did not. Unfortunately, Trump pardoned everyone. That was wrong.

Let’s clear this up. I’m accusing you of being a biased hack.

When all else fails play the J6 card.

Don’t respond yet. Wait until tonight after a few tottys. I like you better in that space.

As opposed to playing it straight down the middle with documentation, objectivity and a non-partisan perspective like yourself? LOL.

They are inconvenient to the "We are the party of law and order," Republican creed. However, Donald Trump's pardons of January 6th rioters are relevant to any discussion concerning his policies on crime. Not everyone Trump pardoned was merely a peaceful trespasser on the grounds of the Capitol.
