Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

Damn. So McCoy still out. Gibson out. Gonna be thin in the secondary this game. Hopefully their QB sucks enough that it doesn't matter. The trenches will decide this game. Can our OL open up running lanes and protect JA while our DL shuts down their run and pressures their QB? If we can do that, we will beat those barking idiots.

I really want to beat those barking idiots.
Good thing Redmond looks freshman all american and graded out as a top tier corner so far. Hood is right there as well. After those two, woof

I just hope we give them multiple creative looks, and leave nothing in the bag.
This! And that our game plan on defense is aggressive! Blitzing from any and everywhere, no soft zone, make Gunner uncomfortable from the 1st snap. If we do that, he will be uncomfortable all game and give us the ball.

I think we might finally have an athletic enough oline to fight this UGA pass rush.

The thing that makes Georgia’s pass rush so difficult is Kirby is fantastic at disguising his blitzes. He sends guys from out of nowhere. That’s what we will have to do well. Pick up the blitzers. I really hope we see the new screen game that it seems we have installed, especially to the RBs (CATCH THE BALL!). If we hit some timely called screens against the blitz, maybe Kirby will get gun shy calling them, plus hopefully we hit big on a couple of them.

If they bring that S**t.screens and quick slants all day..keep moving the chains eat the clock..we don’t need the home run bomb everytime just manage and keep Georgia’s offense off the field..make them adjust if that’s what they want to do

When I was competing, no straps allowed just opposite hands and grip.💪🏻
But once people started hitting 800-900# and tearing biceps, they started using them.
Tore my bicep in 1995. I have paid a heavy price for those days. I glad I never juiced, then I'd be in a real mess.

Billy Napier presents so poorly that you wonder what in the world he said in the interview that impressed Strickland so much. Perhaps it was that he said yes.
UF AD talking to his secretary when Billy walked in to the office....

Legit non-homer question

Why has Heupel not been able to score more than 17 pts against Kirby?

Outcoached?
Out talented
Player execution?
Some combo?

Can Heupel out scheme Kirby?
The Dawgs have had a massive talent gap for a decade. That is changing. Kirby is not a good manager of the game and he is going down. WGWTFA.

I think Hubbs and the VQ guys said that Tim Banks most success against UGA was year 1 when he called a super aggressive game and blitzed all day.

Guys have been open in past and we missed them. There are less opportunities. Also, we have struggled in red zone, and against physical DB's.

Happy Tuesday

September 9, 2025: There are things in your life that have outlived their usefulness. It is time to discard and replace, which will be the first sign of ushering in a new beginning. Old things have passed away and new things are ready to spring forth. Take the next step. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
