President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

Trump literally sent Intel's stock tanking by calling on the CEO to resign, and two weeks later demanded a 10% stake in their company because they accepted funding under the CHIPS act, which was backed by zero congressional authority to convert those grants into equity.

It's truly a trip to watch 'free-market fiscal conservatives' embrace government ownership in private sector companies.
LOL at the notion Trump was the one to reveal the links to China with their CEO ... Here is one of many articles, this one from Apr-2025 ...

Lol so investing in Chinese companies was bad, and then two weeks later, it was suddenly no longer a problem and he's GTG?

What changed in that two weeks to suddenly make his Chinese investments no longer bad?

Intel needed the funds earlier than scheduled from the Chips Act ... it was moved up and with that accelerated funding brought the 10% investment for the US taxpayers. Get better sources for your propaganda.

“America’s small business community is clearly a big winner following the passage of President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” Elaine Parker, President of the Job Creators Network Foundation, said in a statement. “The polling proves that tax cuts are already incentivizing job creation and expansion among small businesses, which will help to drive economic opportunity in communities across the country. It’s clear that the tax cuts are working.”

So from 'criminal Chinese company investor' who should resign because of his many "conflicts", to an 'amazing success story' in two weeks?

What changed in those two weeks?

Again, Intel asked for the funding quicker than scheduled.

Thank you.

So the question is (1) why did he deny it, and (2) what do some of the more coded-sounding lines mean? Seems like he should tell us.
1). Bc he knows its a terrible look.
2.) I have no idea but he and Epstein were partying with young (legal) women all the time.

If this is all you got it really ain't much

Again, what does that have to do with his scandalous Chinese investments that were so damning that Trump declared that he must resign from Intel?
From the article you linked that maybe you did not read:

"Tan is now making an effort to reassure Trump that he remains the right person to revive the storied American chipmaker."

Tan also wanted the funds earlier which was also part of the negotiations. That is what happened, negotiations took place.

Think of it like when you reach out to a radical left NGO to be paid per post or attend a paid protest event. Those are negotiations as well.
