Can we stop the run and make Stockton beat us? He n the flip side can we establish the run and stay ahead of the chains? Still not sure how this game goes, I do think it’ll be close.

Some random thoughts/questions:

Can we run the ball against a light box? A big part of Kirby’s success against our offense has been being able to stop our run game with pure talent and not having to commit extra guys.

Can our receivers get open against 5 star DBs and make contested catches? You know it’s going to be bump and run and real handsy from UGA.

Can Aguilar protect the ball and make tight throws in his first major test?

What adjustments does Banks make? Last year Bobo got the better of him, especially in the second half, and picked on our LBs.

Can we stop the run with our interior injuries? UGA’s identity is to run it down your throat. Can we get them in 3rd and longs and make Stockton make plays?

How does Stockton handle a big time road environment? Our fans need to bring that big game energy.

Rushing vs Georgia since Heup has been here.

2021: 55 yards
2022: 94 yards
2023: 130 yards (75 yards on the first play)
2024: 146 yards

It's gotten better each year but historically we need to eclipse that 200 yard mark. The run game opens everything else up for us.

It is so frustrating to have our best 1-2 punch at corner in 2 decades miss arguably the most important game we play this year. I still think we have a great chance this week, but if our defense was at full strength I would feel so much better.
We won't have Gibson, maybe the rest of the year, from what it sounds like

Hoping to have McCoy back by MSU

I'm watching a film breakdown against AP now.

Otherwise I saw most snaps from last year and yeah...he's not scary. We get consistent pressure on him then we win. I think Joey makes more plays than him in the end.
Just please don’t sit in soft zone and let him get comfortable with easy throws.

This is all it comes down to really. If we force UGA to bring a safety into the box to neutralize the run, our chances of winning shoot up. They haven’t had to yet.

Imma make myself sparse this week—I doubt me being here is productive—but I think we are all seeing this game the same: yall want to make Stockton beat you and we want to stop the run with a light box. Should be a war.

I think you have a great team and have built a great community here. Thanks for letting a barking stranger have a stool at your hillbilly moonshine convention.
