Georgias DBs will be handsy. I wish we would start using the same approach with our DBs.I was being a bit facetious, using “exact play” as in exact outcome, but in all seriousness, I do hope we play loose & make Georgia DB’s have to make plays. If refs don’t let them get away with holding our WR’s, we have some guys that can make plays.
Meanwhile Padre Imolava doesn’t have to fight crazy lines for a hot dog. So there’s that.

There have been several plays where I was surprised we didn't get flagged, after being used to how we normally get flagged on similar contact. I hope the refs let both teams play and don't alter the game for ticky-tack stuff, unless it's called on UGA.I think our DBs have been way more physical this year. The secondary looks much better than it has in years past.
I think we would be fine. South Carolina use to teach the same technique and I doubt they had special standards. You will get a couple holds per game possibly but it makes the defense more effective. We can’t touch a receiver or we get flagged immediately. 2 different standards. That’s what’s so frustrating. However, Heup has the dudes now, I think, to deal with that. Can’t wait to see us matchup and win.

OK, Lube U is a trap game.I'm beginning to think he's a "plant" that was sent to ruin the floriduh football program .... much like Pruitt was an agent from alabama here to screw us over. Napier is from Cookeville and his family are lifelong VOL fans. You know there's a hatred inside him for the gatas and he's tried to bury it but the hotter his seat, the harder it is for him to hide. I respect him for "giving his all" and I expect him to join the Volunteer Club upon getting fired.
Seriously, I wouldn't be shocked if they lose the rest of their games this season. View attachment 771589
WGWTFA.Counterpoint: The last time I went to College Gameday in Knoxville (just to tailgate), we beat Florida for the first time in six years. This will be my first time inside Neyland stadium, so maybe the luck is on our side again.
I want this one so bad I can’t stand it. We have a real shot and maybe the best shot we have had against them in a long time because it is early in the season and that means more chaos is likely to happen.
If Neyland can get loud and rowdy like never before, force Stockton into mistakes, and our offense can make the most of every possession, we can win this game.
Go Vols.
Wow.
