For you old heads that had your younguns play soccer, did you get the cheapest equipment for them whenever they were just starting out? I signed the boy up for this fall and know he needs cleats, socks, and shin guards. Wasn’t sure which brand to go with because I know quality seems to be different from sport to sport.

Oh I don’t have to spend money on that stuff. There are plenty of old schools with soccer goals around here that I can take him to. Already have a ball and they aren’t expensive anyways. Baseball and football equipment are the most expensive so I gladly obliged to soccer 😂
