One thing was clear - JA won that starting role fair and square.
He is definitely the better qb rn. I honestly was not impressed with Merk yesterday, he underthrew a wide open brazzell on a 30 yard pass play and almost threw a pick six. Gmac looked solid, and I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised to see him as qb2 at some point this year

Some of the highest pff grades I’ve seen lol.

Vols had 22 offensive players play 20+ snaps.

JA (94.2) and Jesse Perry (91.0) led the offense.

Defense led by Jordan Ross (92.5) with only 14 snaps and Tyre West (91.6).

Vols STAR players both graded out very poorly. Boo (59.4) and McMurray (47.2).

A lot of people wont like this take. But, Nico's TE's and WR's are absolute toilet water. People saying they were bad, didnt realize just how bad they are. It really makes him worse than he really is. Which, is overrated.

Better WRs and TEs don’t help him see the field better but you’re right they certainly don’t help him.

Wow, Jesse Perry is our best OL?!

Great news on the DLine. I didnt think they stood out.

September 7, 2025: Stay closely connected to the source of life. Just as a branch cannot produce fruit apart from the vine, neither can you thrive when you try to go it alone. This is a season to draw strength, wisdom, and direction from the One who sustains you. Resist the urge to rely only on your own strength, for it will leave you weary. Instead, remain rooted where nourishment flows freely, and fruitfulness will follow.
John 15:5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

People should just move on from it, Nico left and CJH got a better QB from portal it's over with. This happened 6 months ago some act like their wife or husband has left them.😆😆😆

Things I never want to hear another word about:

- Arch heisman talk
- Lagway heisman talk
- Sellers heisman talk
Heisman has nothing to do with actual performance. It has to do with highlights and hype (from the media). Sellers could be 50% with 220 yards but has a play where he sheds a sack and runs for 30 yards, boom heisman hype. Same thing with Lagaway, misses 5 guys wide open but then hits one big play that makes the highlight reel, boom media hype.

No. As a 45 year old man with one hip replaced and the second one happening in a few days, I do not want to watch a story of a 50+ man playing college football. You had your time. Just enjoy being 50.
The OG is playing the tuba, not the mike linebacker position. Your favorite purple people eater played in the band. If he/she/them/they can do it, I'd say it's not that difficult.

You haven't watched a single minute of UCLA football and it shows.

TEs...I'll just say don't know, not seen enough. But WRs were making some big catches for him last night...that UCLA OL and RB group are very bad though.
