Is RFK, Jr. done?

Same people that encouraged you to take a vaccine that may be linked to rising cancer rates . All take money from Big Pharma.....hmmmm.

I think many people would prefer the CDC and HHS to review scientific literature, disease patterns, and other factors that influence health and make recommendation for patients and HCPs to consider and discuss. People generally do not like to be FORCED to do anything, especially with regard to their own bodies or children. Removing that pressure could open many people to discussion over options they are not fully comfortable with.

I knew that there were certain groups of people who resisted vaccines prior to Covid, mostly the granola set but don't recall there being much of a pushback on having their kids vaccinated for school. What I believe we are seeing today is a direct whiplash from the covid vax mandates pushed by the Biden administration.

do you think there is room for discretion in the vaccine discussion?

For example, vaccination for polio is far more important than say vaccination for chicken pox or HPV for people abstaining from sex until marriage.

Seems to me, the discussion always lumps "vaccination" into one box as if all are equally important for long life.

100% - nothing wrong with reviewing if ALL the vaxes that are mandated really require a mandate.

Anti-vax rhetoric is a result of people being stupid and believing misinformation, it isn't Biden's fault

Do you know what he is advocating wrt vaccines that's got the partisans up in the air?
A lot of their outrage is due to misinformation pushed by the media. He has not, to my knowledge, made any move to limit or ban any routine childhood vaccinations. He has actually expressed support for their use. He has advocated for more research into the safety of some ingredients, such as thimerosal and aluminum, although most/all (in many practices) childhood vaccines are now preservative-free. He has also re-opened the disproven link between vaccines and autism.

Thank you.

If the vaccines are now perservative free and the link is disproven, then re opening those to new tests would further bolster American's confidence in them.
...at least that's how i see it.

LOL

Forcing people into taking an unproven vaccination that turned out not to work as advertised absolutely caused the vax resistance we're seeing today.
It wasn't advertised by public health officials as 100% preventative of COVID and saved millions of lives. That shouldn't make anyone an anti-vaxxer except that they read a bunch of BS online

Of course. And there are different ways to look at that.

In your example: what is an average American's chance of being exposed to Polio? Essentially zero. Varicella is still present, and can be spread to children by adults with shingles. While not high, there is a reasonable complication rate from varicella infection, especially for infants.

I believe around 30% of adults carry at least one HPV strain, and it is the leading cause of cervical cancer. So, a female could practice abstinence until marriage, but still contract the virus from her husband. There are, of course, plenty of teenagers that don't "plan on" having sex, then either make poor decisions, get swept up in a moment, or are raped.

Just a couple of thoughts that I share with parents who are on the fence.

What misinformation?
Vaccines causing autism, RFK repeatedly claiming that kids receive 75 or 100 vaccines or whatever his new number is, the claim that no vaccine is safe and effective, claims that it's meaningful that some vaccines are for "diseases this mom has never heard of" (because the vaccine worked), I'm sure there are many more examples

I agree 100%, as I witnessed it with my own eyes and ears.

it was advertised that way by Biden and other public officials/pundits - worse, they told people that were hesitant they were killing other people, should be fired, should be denied health care etc. all this was grounded in misinformation about the ability of the vaccine to stop transmission. Hell both Fauci and the CDC director had Covid multiple times all while shaming people and supporting sanctions against them for not following the guidelines that clearly didn't prevent them from getting the disease

It was advertised that way, the president himself said you won't get covid if you take the vaccine. Then people saw with their own eyes vaccinated people still getting Covid.

If you have to get multiple booster shots, it's not a vaccine. LG's president wanted this. That regime kicked out and ruined many people's lives because of that forced vaccine. Not to mention all of the complications
