The Atlanta Braves

After an extended showcase period for Nacho, I feel comfortable in saying he is absolutely a MLB caliber player, even if that is only as a bench player. The defense at 3b is certifiably great. I don't really know how he fits on this team moving forward though. He is really only able to play 3b and 2b, which makes it harder to carry him on the bench. I suppose we could try him out in LF/RF over the winter to give him more versatility.

He may have better value to us in a trade if someone believes in the bat enough to make him their starting 3b.

He's got Nick Green power

25% K rate with his lack of power won't cut it. He's going to have do better at making contact.

I loved the video. When I pulled it up, I was expecting a breakdown of maybe 5-6 plays instead of just one play, but I liked the attention to detail.

There was a rough draft of that that I did over the long weekend, but that was before I downloaded the telestrator tool. That might come in to play against Georgia.

Yes, he isn't a starting caliber player. I never said he was. But he plays great defense and gets on base pretty well. That's a solid MLB bench option if he can play other positions.

Our OL is legit and the offense still has some new tricks up it’s sleeve

This was a massive thing to me, and I am going to really focus on it for next week's pod. Rewatching the game 3 times, this OL was really moving people. The only times Syracuse really was able to stuff us was when they had 7-8 in the box. Aguilar had protection the whole game. There were lanes all games for the backs. And we are so much more athletic than last year's OL.

Admittedly, Syracuse's defense (front 7 in particular) was garbage last year and they didn't do a whole lot to improve it.

I'm more worried about scoring.
They're big and physical and hard to run over.

Gotta block them and create splash plays.
The Neyland Effect is going to have to come up big in that game. Create pre-snap penalties that get them behind the sticks and lead to obvious passing situations, miscommunications, etc.
