So..... who's still out there?

The player either has to be available or you have to go out and poach. Neither is a guarantee. High school recruiting is still the way. The other stuff is supplemental.

So, if the wheels continue to fall off at bama, I don't see their class sticking together. Who would you like to see Heupel go after on their roster? They have a really good safety out of Maryland and an edge out of GA that we offered. Either would be a nice addition.

The five star corner who was practically getting his mail in Knoxville earlier this year.

I’m probably wrong, but Jordan edmonds to me is the next Caleb downs or lock down corner. I think he’s a top 5 player in the class.
Wonder if we could get in on Jorge Edwards, their 5* safety commit, if he were to look around. He’s a St. Edwards kid and we have a connection there.

Jireh Edwards.
St Frances Academy.

He’s a beast too.

Think they try to flip one of the two in state corners or Zyan Gibson/Jordan Edmonds since Bama seems to be falling apart

Got Harris. The rest of the class, unless we take Brody Smith, will likely consist of flips. Who do we target for flips now? My guesses:

Lincoln Watkins-TE (Kentucky commit)
Savion Hiter-RB (Michigan commit)
Kendre Harrison-TE (Oregon commit)
Zyan Gibson-CB (Bama commit)
Jireh Edwards-S (Bama commit)
JJ Finch-DT (Bama commit)

I don’t think we’ll try too hard to flip Craig Tutt. Just doesn’t feel like they want to put much into that. Maybe I’m wrong.

Brody Smith, Watkins are who I think are for sure and then maybe Finch and probably 1 who’s a complete unknown right now

Then we hit the portal hard

Besides that I do think we may lose 1 or 2 lower ranked commits which opens us back up for some of the bama potential flips

Considering that the media is declaring "the end of Alabama", is there a chance we can poach a few of their recruits? They are stuck with the coach until they can afford to buy him out. I believe $70m is the current buyout. That's probably another 2-3 years. Do they really want to play on the Alabama team that is going to be a dumpster fire?

If Bama fans would give up their Natty Light, Cigarettes, and Meth money they could afford it but that's not going to happen

Predicted actual finish:

Lincoln Watkins-TE
JJ Finch-DT
Amari Latimer-RB

Maybe another DT who isn't on the radar yet (late riser, committed to a program whose coach gets fired, etc.).

All would be flips.
Are you aware of amount of current peer level recruiting on these guys? That always makes me feel better. If the staff is good with yield from this group so am I. Maybe save 1 for a SR BLOW UP GUY!!

The media are often wrong and this is creating bad mojo for us. I’m going to say that Bama rights the ship and has a great Season but my fingers are crossed.
