Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

I just saw an Alabama writer having a come-to-Jesus moment with the Alabama fan base.

"This isn't Texas A&M with Jimbo Fisher - Alabama doesn't have a multitude of big-money donors who would be willing to throw that kind of money around to pay the buyout. What money Alabama does get from its richer donors is being funnelled directly into NIL to remain competitive with roster building.

If Alabama diverted that money toward paying a buyout, it would have a majorly adverse effect on the talent the Tide can accumulate."

It's from yesterday but I haven't seen it discussed. If Bama is a permanent opponent, this could affect how the SEC awards the other two opponents. I can't see Kentucky not being one because who else do they even have as a major rival? Greg Byrne tied to Kalen DeBoer’s fate as Alabama faces a long road ahead

I could have sworn that was against NCAA rules. They tried to bury us with the mere suspicion that we may have used a booster plane for Nico to visit a NIL group. Shall we expect the NCAA to publicly leak an investigation on Bama?

it was clearly just for discussion. the ND RB is a dude.
It's a worthy thought but my reply would be pretty much the same. We are getting that kind of production out of 3 backs, better out of 2. Maybe Love rebounds and has a stellar year. I hope so. He's on one of my fantasy teams! But I would have a real tough time picking any of our 3 to tell to hit the road.
