I was looking at Byrum Brown's stats for USF just now because I have a couple of college fantasy teams and they weren't eye-popping but he didn't turn the ball over. Hallmark of a QB in this system. He did have two TDs on the ground but none passing.

When I was young, my best friend's cat, who we nicknamed Satan, used to come up from behind and under the legs of his 100 lb. German Sheppard, reach up and smack it in the head and then run the other way before the dog could catch it. Same. I also had the Nebraska money line boost last night as well. We have a lot of the same bets this weekend.

IF he stays healthy, very good value fantasy QB especially when they get into G5 play.

Yes, my immediate thought was he would put up better numbers in the future. I don't think he's available in either of my two leagues. Edit: he was in one so I submitted a claim. Better use of a roster spot than the ECU receiver I dropped.

I hit a tiny parlay last night. 3 legs for only -140. Good way to start the season. Turned $50k into about $80k in a different reality.

Gonna be interesting, I'm curious if Salter can put up big numbers like Sanders did in that offense. They've got a lot of new faces though so might be a bad year

Something feels funny about the Wake Forest game. I don't know enough about Kennesaw St, but could they pull an upset here or cover the spread easily?

Call me crazy but I think FSU has a chance to beat Bama.

1. Bama's starting RB and their best DL are both out.
The RB who will start might end up being great, but on paper this isn't a Saban running back room.

2. Ty Simpson who has only shown splashes of mediocrity, will be making his first collegiate start on the road in a hostile environment.

3. Alabama had trouble defending mobile QB's last season.
