Normally lifetime contracts don't end well but Rick is one of a kind. He will not abuse this honor. He's been the best thing that's ever happened to our basketball program, hands down. He's also a good, Godly man that lives a great example for our other coaches, our faculty, our athletes, and our students. He is awesome.

I wish I could like this twice. When he was first hired we saw him and the assistant coaches in Jason’s deli. I told him congrats on the job and that was excited. He saw my family and came over to talk with us for about 5 minutes and it made my kids day. Such a sincere and nice gentleman.

No different than Americans moving to other countries, Mexico, Costa Rica, etc.
Middle class folks working in NYC, Cali can move to BFE and buy big comfy houses to retire in. New Yorkers have been exploiting the gap and moving to FL, NC for decades.

Very common practice. They may not enjoy the fit, but being able to buy lots of land and housing at dirt cheap prices is always going to be enticing to some.

I've thought about doing similar in the future. Either middle of nowhere suburbia or a central american country.
