I know he's not at Alcoya anymore, but is Gary Rankin one of the best HS coaches ever? He has Boyd Buchanan winning now. . . they were 4-6 the season before he got there, they're 33-6 since. . . 7-4 his 1st season, 13-1, 12-1, and 1-0. He was great at Riverdale too.

The man has been coaching for a minute. 1981 was his 1st season.

500 wins and 47 losses is that right? Jeez. . .

He is a very good coach. But by far his best skillset is recruiting. At least now he is at a private school so it is not against the "rules."
