Cashless bail has been a colossal failure here in Memphis.
3 year anniversary of Liza Fletcher's rape and murder this week and Ezekiel Kelly's shooting spree. Cashless bail in both cases.
Of course, it might not be as much cashless bail as the limpdicked AG who doesnt do his job here.
Ok. Finally a complete sentence. Is the article false about cashless bail. Educate me
THIS points a the crux of the matter in my opinion. The places largely pushing this bail system now are managed by morons and in my opinion are abusing the concept. The most vocal advocates are shooting themselves in the foot by their administration of the bail system. If somebody is before the judge for a third time for B&E in the last 6 months (an arbitrary example) why in the hell would they release them. If somebody is in front of the judge for minor possession 1st offense (another arbitrary example) why hold them? If a violent offender for domestic abuse who could still attack their partner if released is in front of the judge (a final arbitrary example) I’d lean real heavily towards no bail personally.Cashless bail has been a colossal failure here in Memphis.

Here's a names for you..there an thousands of examples like this where pr releases (cashless bail) was allowed..So the hills to die on this week are (checks notes) EO’s which promote incarceration of the poor and go against prior SCOTUS rulings on free speech. The GOP has become spineless if this is how they want to behave going forward.
But you say cashless bail works. Maybe the criminal needs sit in jail for awhile if they can’t make bail then maybe there want be a 3rd timeTHIS points a the crux of the matter in my opinion. Asked and answered. Go read 38934. A proper administered cashless bail system doesn’t mean automatic OR release. The review should prevent many of the accused from being released. That’s a failure of adjudication not the concept. Here's a names for you..there an thousands of examples like this where pr releases (cashless bail) was allowed..
Joseph Janulewicz (New York) history of 60 arrests violent and non violent. He was released without bail after an arrest for second-degree assault. After release her assault another person..

I’m pretty sure criminals who don’t commit violent crimes still commit lesser crimes because they know they will be right back out on the streets to repeat the lesser crimes that aren’t violentOh wow now the light bulb is going on and you’re realizing the stupid hill you’re dying on.the offense matters and there are absolutely many cases where there shouldn’t be a release. But you just opened up and went full retard.
