Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

You're saying since a 12 yr old can throw 82, a 12 yr old can also foul off a 107 mph fastball?

Watched the entire thing and all I can say is... Heup's got that look in his eye.

That was a great interview and I agree, Coach seemed at ease, happy, and eager about the season coming up. I hope that’s a reflection of him secretly knowing how good we can actually be. And I hope the team feeds off that energy too.

If we end up Top 5, I'll quit bitching about recruiting. Top 10 would make me very happy. I think we end up just outside the Top 10. Similar to last year.
I'd be ecstatic for a top 5

I still can't figure the math on how we get there without dropping monster bags

I think top 10 would be a great achievement.

Top 5 talk feels like a "be sure to drink your ovaltine" and click the recruiting sites/articles every 5 minutes

What’s the better class:

-17 commits, 94.39 avg recruit ranking

- 27 commits, 92.07 avg recruit ranking

AP: Give me 1 or 2 guys that people haven't seen that are on the verge of breaking out big time this year.

Heupel: there's a bunch of them. Jordan Ross has put himself into position to play great football. Jesse Perry has done an elite job on the offensive line.

So I worked out the details with the funeral home. Cremation was all I could afford and I'm ok with that because he's away from his home anyway and I think I may return him there one day (at least part of him). I'm not sure right now. Apparently I don't even get the social security death benefit bc we never married beyond a priest marrying us at the first of the year at the hospital (he was so sick then and in between that I never found the time to get the state paperwork).

And apparently dying is insanely expensive... now I've got to figure out so many things that I knew were coming (income/a job, a car etc.) that I didn't have to worry about and was working on before he died. Life comes at you fast peeps, even when you feel like it isn't. You can be told the inevitable is coming for years but it never feels that way until it does.

I will get through it fam and have had a lot of wonderful ppl that I never expected show up to help but I damn this is hard.

Few weeks back when it twer 95 BEFORE Heat Index, was something. Went and shot hoops one day at 2PM, on the asphalt. because, well I like to learn lessons the hard way. Toughed through about 10-15 minutes of that nonsense, crawled home. Drank water, then curled up in the fetal position and slept.
It feels like October today.
