I think the plan was no RB in this class if they didn't get Hiter. Not saying they wouldn't take a flier on somebody that is under recruited.

Keys, an Edge (Harris?) but we need one this class imo, and maybe flip Watkins the TE. Not much else. Idk if we’d still take a Brody Smith. There’s always at least one flip coming and going in the final hours before ESD. But mostly staffs like to have the class nearly wrapped up by season.

Garner has a history of pulling a recruit late. Nothing against Chop he is great, but Garners credentials speak for themselves. Of course I am glad we got both, but Garner is known for scoring a recruit late in just about every cycle. But both are very capable. GBO

Probably because that is the time they have to focus on game planning, and just don't have the time to go on the road to recruit.

With the expanded roster this likely becomes a moot point. I disagree with it. It’s going to ramp up transfers even more if teams are carrying 105 collies. You think recruiting is tough now?

Going to ultimately hurt the smaller schools and lower level as the big guys will be stacking rosters.
