If we send Waldrep down now, we could save his rookie eligibility. He was #94 last year on Baseball Prospectus and would likely end up another top 100 list. Could give us another ROY candidate in 2026.

Was trying to see if the Braves had an average hitter instead of Elder making starts how many wins that would be worth, but the Braves only average 2.61 in losses where Elder has pitched so......

I imagine your motivation and overall competitive fire in a game where you are down by 6 runs in the 2nd inning, isn't quite the same as a game that is tight. I'm not saying they don't try hard when they are down a bunch of runs, but mentally it's natural to have a different approach to the game when it gets out of hand.

I was curious if he was good first time through the order, but he isn't 4.57 ERA is terrible lol

I am fine with reclamation projects. Especially in a lost year. He had a 4.19 ERA a little over 2 weeks ago, so may be there is something there.
