Trade Wars and Tariffs

absolutely.

that's whey the meme is causing my brain to glitch. dangerous to take memes too seriously though. Thus the reason for my question to Rat.
Stop overthinking memes. Most posted on here are baseless on factual foundation and patently wrong. It’s better to just laugh at them.

Maybe it means he'd rather the federal government be funded through tariffs than direct taxation of us citizens through income taxes?

Oh it’s more basic than that. Just all the piss poor judgement leadership is continually exercising focused on short term outcomes while ignoring longer term impacts in general. And in the group I support a complete lack of a coherent product roadmap driving development to try and capture new business.

I am not willing to take ownership of a single item I’m largely just mentoring. But I’ve reached my wits end of ignoring short sighted stupidity so I’ll just ride off into the sunset. I really want to be the grumpy old guy that’s just needlessly criticizing the younger leadership. I want to be wrong. 3.5+ decades of doing this and being an impact contributor in growing a $20M dept into a $1B business segment tells me I’m not. Either way the solution is obvious to me. If I’m not willing to engage I need to go away. And I’m completely fine with that.

The QC is a symptom of the short sightedness..Hell, I had goals to meet and it sure is easier to incrementally grow your base rather than loss them one by one by selling crap product…management dont gas, theyjust demand growth.

appears Trump was expecting this...

No, that's not a statement that he was "expecting" an unfavorable decision, that's him stating he's going to be a totalitarian and ignore it. But please go on and tell me how Republicans respect our Constitutional checks and balances and respect the rule of law.

Court paused ruling for 45 days, thats why tariffs will still be in effect....
