Zelensky Gives Trump Golf Putter From Ukrainian Soldier Who Lost Leg In Combat

President Trump received an engraved golf putter from a Ukrainian soldier who found solace in the game after losing his leg while fighting Russian invaders, The Post has learned.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky presented Trump with the club — engraved with the phrase “Let’s putt peace together!” — in the Oval Office Monday on behalf of Junior Sgt. Kostyantyn Kartavtsev.

“I am one of those soldiers you have spoken about — they’re courageous, they are good soldiers,” Kartavtsev said in a video message shown to Trump by the Ukrainian president. “I lost a leg rescueing my fellow men, and am recovering here with golf.”

Kartavtsev golfs on an artificial leg courtesy of the Ukrainian Golf Federation’s United By Golf program, which focuses on veterans’ rehabilitation.

“This is a gift from a man who knows the true price of peace,” United By Golf said in a statement. “Like all those on the frontlines today, he continues to defend our freedom.”

”I know a lot about golf, and your swing is great,” Trump, an avid golfer and fan of the game, told Kartavtsev in a responding video message after Zelensky showed a clip of the soldier on the course.

“It looks beautiful, and you’re going to be a very good golfer very soon, but I also want to thank you for this putter.

”It’s beautiful and it’s made with real love, and it’s given to me with real love from you, and I appreciate that.” the US president concluded.

Kartavtsev’s golf game has been key to his rehabilitation as he adjusts to life with a prosthetic leg, helping him regain his balance — “both physically and emotionally,” he told Trump in his message.

Putin Gives Alaska Man New Motorcycle after he complained about cost to repair his Soviet-era bike because of War

Vladimir Putin gave an Alaska man a new motorcycle after he became a viral sensation in Russian state media when he complained that the Ukraine war was making it more expensive to repair the Soviet-era bike he was a driving.

Mark Warren, of Anchorage, said he was handed the keys to the spanking new Ural motorbike in a motel parking lot by a Russian embassy staffer last week after Putin’s high-stakes meeting with President Trump.

“I have to say that this is a personal gift from the President of the Russian Federation,” the employee told Warren in a propaganda clip blasted out by Russian state media.

The bizarre chain of events unfolded after a Russian TV crew, in town ahead of the Putin-Trump meeting, flagged the retired fire inspector down as he was running errands on his Soviet-era bike on Aug. 9.

A nice spin to say it’s working.

Lol, so this is the MAGA long term plan for lowering crime rates?

So the 5k National guard soldiers deployed to LA costs $134 million for 60 days.

So ball park $26,800/soldier, or $13,400/soldier/month.

If the number stays constant at 1,800 soldiers on the deployment, that's ~$289,440,000 for a full 12 months of deployment to DC.

Are we adding that to the defense budget, or are we cutting something to fund it?

right..big reason he has to do it is because of Dem bail policy..Imagine being such an idealogue that promotes woke, males in female locker rooms and bathrooms, an open border, defund police, support for terrorists..

Retrobate minds.
Amazing we have Americans upset that the NG is helping clean up crime in metro cities. And then choose to stay silent on the crimes that led to it.

Sorry for your struggle that criminals are being handled.

By your numbers it’s cheaper than the summer of love destruction by 5 times. So there’s that.

MY 95,000 SQUARE FOOT REPLICA DAACHA IN THE SWISS ALPS has become far too expensive to maintain with the sanctions limiting my options for authentic Soviet era building materials and I had to demo it. Just in case anybody in the Kremlin is reading VN 😉

Does the BBB include funding for hiring the additional personnel required for the Metro DC police to properly handle the issue themselves? If DC crime is such an issue, why wasn't it important enough to include in that bill? The NG can't be a long term plan. They're neither trained for it nor should it be their purpose.

Most people realize them being there, and in LA, was more about a sudden wind change. That's been the catalyst for this administration

You think parking national guard troops on every corner is a long term solution for crime?
No the solution is blue cities doing their job on crime so you don’t need the National Guard.

Now you can post your chart saying it’s red states like ole Gavin but it the blue ran cities that have a problem

So it's just "Blue Cities"?
