'26 TN CB Zaydyn Anderson (Tennessee commit)

This isnt a good year for DB's
Conference gonna expand to 105 roster
we finally have two or three good CB
Martinez knows exactly what he wants, and found some dudes that will likely stick around for 3 years, bc they want to be here.

He got ALL THAT without breaking the bank.

What else do you want?
Not losing our top DB commits 2 years in a row the weekend before early signing day and missing on the top 2 corners on the board every single season would be nice

Recruiting him at CB

Would honestly love to see him play WR, with King, Moa, and Keys.
I think receiver would be his quickest road to making an impact. I wouldn’t be surprised if him and Moa end up on the opposite sides we expect them to play at. Because Moa could easily come in and start at star for us next year. Whereas if we land Keys and hold onto our current WR room after this season I think it could be a while before Moa gets any significant amount of meaningful snaps at receiver

So much for the ones that say players drop in rankings when they become Vols.( Which has never been true)..But you can't tell that to some of these dum dum's

I have a whole thread about it, if you actually wanted to check on this.

Not to be confused with @mrmax86 thread where we track TN's rankings, this thread is to track how our individual players do. Basically: Does 247's Composite hate us?

I will update this with players as they commit. I will post their current ranking, any past ranking I have noted, and will update as others commit, or try to update once a month if there is no commitment. Players will be listed in the order they commit.

I only track the history of players that show up on the visits. There are way too many to individually track otherwise, and while I could use the history function, that typically only shows how an individual service ranks them, and its a lot of work to click thru each player individually.

I am using 247 because I had started doing this before On3 was a thing, and I don't feel like switching. this is 247's Composite ranking.

the first number is their "grade", and the second number is their ranking. I will also note when they commit with an asterisks.

"NA" means 247's composite didn't have a ranking for the player at the time. I haven't found an official reason for this but I am guessing its because only 1 service had him ranked at the time, so there is no way to do the composite. Also seems that every other service can have a guy ranked, but if 247 doesn't then their composite doesn't either.

depending on feedback I may or may not continue tracking this on VN.

If I remember correctly, we are about 50/50 on guys who went up vs guys who went down. math is there if anyone actually wants to check.

Because a few guys got a bump?

It was a 3-1 Drop to Rise the last update…

Net difference in 247 composite player rating since committing to Tennessee is +12.
What’s that?
Increase in recruiting score or are you saying on average everybody moved up 12 spots?
