Israel vs Palestinians II

There’s been a group of IDF vets that have outspokenly opposed what has been going on for at least 20 years. This and the protests against Bibi are far from new
It’s amazing to me that people think all Jews think alike.
I’ve pointed out too many times to count the old Jewish joke.
“Where there are 2 Jews there are three opinions….maybe 4. “

My post practically 95% points to an Israeli act, with Hamas thrown in as an outlying comment, so I'll assume your "nothing but propaganda and hypocrisy" is directed to the thread at large.

I wouldn't spend your $ to buy WaPo, but will assume it, too, concludes IDF was the attacker. Which still begs the questions of why and under what circumstance.

Unless you're proposing this is standard IDF procedure, you're asking the same two questions.
Correct it wasn’t directed to you. And I do apologize for being rude the other day

I don’t, it gave me a free 24 hours back a while ago when the story first came out. The conclusion was essentially the same they just used different team of experts

Correct it is the same question, and it shouldn’t be hard to condemn the act of whoever did it and expect a punishment. The hind rajab foundation released who they think did it and is going to court over it

Edit* and of course if it came out that it was Hamas I’d expect retractions and condemnations too

Lol
Fixation.
I really don’t give a **** beyond this conversation.
If you knew anything about me you’d know that I’m concerned with my standing before what I believe G-d to be. I have no say or impact on your standing and judgment so I’m going to leave you to worry about you.

That’s another thing that separates me from Christian’s and Muslims. It doesn’t bother me at all if you think G-d is different than what I do.
What if there is no God?

Agreed. All religions suck lol

Just let the "idiots" believe what they want to believe.
Ya, I don’t waste a lot of time worrying about an afterlife. If there is a G-d then not focusing on the now that I’ve been given would be an insult. I’ll find out soon enough. Let’s say that I’m right about G-d. And that G-d judges me as unrighteous and destroys me, then He would be just to do so as all things are his. If I knew now that I will be destroyed at my judgment then I’d still do my best to do right in his eyes because this life has been a gift worthy of thanks.

I just don’t have the energy to worry about anyone else when I can barely think for myself

Unmasking the Hind Rajab Foundation: A Pseudo-Legal Organisation Masking a Dangerous Agenda

The Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF) presents itself as a legitimate legal advocacy group, dedicated to holding the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) accountable for alleged war crimes. However, behind this facade lies a disturbing reality. This report reveals the HRF's deep connections to extremist ideologies and terrorist organisations, raising serious concerns about its true motives.
The HRF actively gathers and disseminates information on IDF soldiers living abroad, aiming to subject them to legal harassment and potentially jeopardise their safety. The foundation has filed complaints against soldiers across multiple countries and submitted reports to the International Criminal Court (ICC) alleging "war crimes" committed by numerous soldiers and officers.
Leading this campaign are Dyab Abou Jahjah and Karim Hassoun, individuals with a documented history of supporting terrorism and antisemitism.
  • Dyab Abou Jahjah, a founder and chairman of the HRF, is a former Hezbollah activist and has openly praised figures connected to terrorist organisations. He even celebrated the September 11 attacks as “sweet revenge”. During the Iron Swords War, he actively demonstrated his support for both Hamas and Hezbollah.
  • Karim Hassoun, co-founder and secretary of the HRF, has praised Samir Kuntar, who carried out the brutal murder of the Haran family in Nahariya in 1979. Hassoun has also publicly defended Hamas, condemning the group for not taking more hostages during the recent conflict.
Both Abou Jahjah and Hassoun have held leadership positions in the Arab European League (AEL), an organisation convicted of disseminating Holocaust denial material.
Don't be fooled by the HRF's carefully constructed image. This report delves into the organisation's disturbing connections and activities, exposing its dangerous agenda.

Did anyone not know Israel has its own leftist population?
Opposing Bibi isn’t a leftist thing. He sucks and every Jew and Israeli should want him out of office. People rightly talk about how terrible Hamas is, At minimum he tolerated them for years and ignored warnings of 10/7

So nothing in Chattanooga from the Chattanooga leadership of Islam.
Well they did say “no comment “.

But I was completely unaware anyone said anything.
So 3 nation wide out it the millions is better than nothing…..I guess. Did anyone go on camera the day of? I mean other than the Chattanooga leadership hiding their faces and saying “no comment “.

Now let’s talk about when Hillary Clinton blamed a Stupid MFer in Texas , who burned the Koran, for Muslim extremism. The local Baptist Pastor of the mega church was the first on the news locally condemning the book burning as hateful. But let’s set that aside for a second. HRC tried to say that simply burning a book, which is stupidity, would cause the Muslim world to riot and pretty much everyone believed her.
That is a perception problem.

I’m glad you found someone who spoke out. Now find 100s more and maybe perception will change.

I gave you exactly what you asked for, and now you’re shifting the goal posts.

Not sure what any of that has to do with them going to the ICC and naming the commander that was there

There’s been pretty large protests, especially against isis. They just never get attention

His ability to survive is very cockroachish.
I don’t know how he does it.

I gave you exactly what you asked for, and now you’re shifting the goal posts.
No….I specifically said the Muslim leader in Chattanooga said “no comment “
I’m glad you found 3 though. It’s better than nothing but nowhere near enough to offset the silence from the vast majority of Muslim leaders.

This ain’t the 80s.
There’s tick tock , YouTube, facebook……. The Protestants get this done. Common perception is silence. That needs to change and there’s only one group who can do that.

You say it isn’t a leftist thing, I’d disagree. It’s probably similar to Trump’s support between the left and right.

As of a Gallup poll conducted in July 2025, Benjamin Netanyahu's approval rating in the U.S. demonstrates a significant partisan divide:

  • Right (Republicans): Netanyahu enjoys a high favorability among Republicans, with 67% viewing him positively.
  • Left (Democrats): Among Democrats, his favorability is significantly lower at just 9%.
  • Independents: Independents fall in between, with a favorability of 19%.

No harm, the to & fro can bring out the unflattering in any of us. I think we all get used too easily and have to get together on some basic tenets of fair play and rule of law, or fly apart as a country.

I wasn't thinking Hamas at all until reading a pretty objective take that while alleging ti was an Israeli tank round (M830A1), it is not known what Hamas munitions might replicate that type of hole in a vehicle. I'd read the round is a high-explosive round (anti-tank or armored machines), wondered why the car and ambulance weren't blown to dust. I assumed it's possible the thin-sheet metal of vehicles might not provide enough resistance for the penetrating nose to depress and set off the charge, thus allowing it to just pass through.

Also, saw reference to the small arms round used at the scene, the 7.62. Most commonly used 7.62 military rounds today are the 7.62x51 running 147-180 grain bullet, and the 7.62x39 (AK type rifles) running 125-150 grain bullets. The Israeli tank does run auxiliary 7.62x51 type guns, while soldiers' rifles are primarily 5.56 typically 55 grain. Hamas might be carrying anything they could come by, but a lot of 7.62x39 AK types. If all the bullets dug out of the vehicles were 7.62x51, that would greatly increase the likelihood of Israeli tank-fired rounds. (in addition to the M830A1).

If you know something about small arms munitions, sincere apologies for just boring the hell out of you.

I don’t like or trust any polls. But here’s one for you Majority of Israelis Think PM Netanyahu Should Accept Responsibility for Oct 7 and Resign – Now or After the War 56% on the right support him resigning now or at least after the war
