My wife is a BS RN, NP and PA. She is retired now, but she was never underpaid. When she came out of retirement and worked few shifts during COVID as a regular nurse, she was paid well. Very well.I'm checking around now to find out. I know nurses are underpaid and the hospitals take advantage of them in the same way airlines do pilots because they know those groups will go the extra mile to get the job done.
My last paycheck just posted, and I am taking a 100% pay cut after that.
Depending on how you define underpaid I suppose. Would their be such a nursing shortage if they were appropriately paid?My wife is a BS RN, NP and PA. She is retired now, but she was never underpaid. Ouch, hate to hear that. Oops you are retiring?I'm checking around now to find out. I know nurses are underpaid and the hospitals take advantage of them in the same way airlines do pilots because they know those groups will go the extra mile to get the job done.
