I don’t see a big deal here. Is it a deal breaker for certain recruits? Is Danny White getting snookered financially (that ain’t happening) or is it just a random issue worthy of half the fanbase to self immolate?
I’d say that’s it good for $$, but I would say that’s about it. Now that’s obviously a huge deal, and I guess it’s the only deal because no one would ever switch to adidas for equal or less money like we did w/ Nike back in 2014 or 15, because Adidas is viewed as an inferior apparel company. Because it is. I think if, if there is an issue with recruiting it would be more on the basketball side of things than the football side. No one is going to dissuade me from that. Adidas basketball is terrible .

There’s a virtually unlimited NIL element to this deal. It’s a no-brainer.

You better believe "adidas school" will be the most-used insult against us for the foreseeable future.
I get the $$ part of it. You can’t say no to that sort of increase, but Adidas sucks. They sucked last time and it’s not like their sideline/fan apparel is good at all. Hopefully the $$ will make a huge difference.

In an Adidas room (or Teams call) on one side of the table is some marketing fluff puffer who proclaims how this is a game changer and will begin a renaissance on the college sports scene. On the other side is a finance guy questioning the ROI rolling their eyes, copy pasting special values over all projections in Excel for the told you so in 5 years.

I hope this works . That’s all I can say

I love it! Can’t wait to get the first pair of Tennessee Vol shoes to go with my Hey Dudes! I don’t wear Nikes crappy products with their terrible fit and bad durability! Also love the fact they paid us the most of any team in the country if the 10/200 is correct. Ohio States with Nike is only 16.8 per year.

I’ll probably be skipping the team shoes and apparel

.... you know it's 2025, right? Not 2015 or earlier
What improvements have they made? Stylistically they’re aesthetic is still awful, the fabric is awful, the three-stripes are a bigger shoehorn than 1 little Nike swoosh. Fan gear is lower quality and smaller variety, shoes will break ankles.

They've fallen off a cliff since the 90's.
