I think this kid is going to be a Wolverine.

I'll trust Price on this one. Hiter and his family Love TN. The Agent/ Handler whatever you wanna call him has been pushing him to Mich. I'll be shocked if he doesn't pick TN

No meltdown at all. He's not a high need, would just be a bonus if we land him. I'll go with the VQ guys on this one, they haven't wavered from their stance on him. Vol!

Coaches have put the full court press on Hiter. According to @Ericvol2096 , we've been working on NIL with the kid for the last year. They seem to want Hiter pretty bad. Do you not trust their judgement? Are you questioning their evaluation of him? And yes, it has been reported that he's our only target at RB.

I swear, it seems some of you are content with Tennessee just being okay and have no real desire to see Tennessee be truly great again.

You seem to want us to trust the coaches and not trust them at the same time.

Yep. 27 RB options look good early, and if Hiter goes to Michigan, the good news is it’ll be August 19 and we’ll have a large sum available for another player or another couple of players.

Lol of the 2 of us I’m the only one that does trust the staff. I trust that there is a backup plan such as shifting focus to another RB or rolling with what we have and utilizing the portal bc they feel good about the room.

It doesn’t matter what’s been reported. They could still be keeping tabs on another RB without relaying that info to AP or others. Or are you under impression those reporters - that only see 30 mins of practice and then are kicked out - are so plugged in that they know every little detail?

That can't be true. @RandomUTfan has already enlightened us that UT is only an option becuase our NIL is bigger than everyone else. The family has no love for UT coaches, campus, culture, facilities, atmosphere, location. Nope. Just a $$ amount. Isn't that right @RandomUTfan ?

It's funny how the target always moves with the NegaVols. One minute, we're not a serious program that can never compete because we're not willing to spend enough NIL. The next minute, we're only getting a recruit because we are paying more than anyone else.

There is a certain segment of Vol "fans" that loathe Tennessee more than a lot of opposing fans. They look for reasons to knock UT. I'm no psychologist, but there seems to be a self-loathing component to this mentality.

Dealt with that mindset in the workplace all the time. Not satisfied unless they could diss somebody or something. Guess they thought it gave them intellectual superiority over co-workers or process selection. Always several of them, and they did seem to congregate, though they each had their own lane. Discontent made their day.

So are we actually 5 days away from his announcement or has that shifted?


Not sure if we have all the details yet but this is one of those I’d like to watch live if I can.
