JA throws a pic almost every time he steps on the field, much like JG. I think Aguilar is the better QB of the 2 but I think he's going to turn the ball over 1 or 2 times a game. He's mentally wired to throw the ball into tight (questionable) areas. Brett Favre was my favorite QB but he had the same problem. They can't help, they're gunslingers

The completion percentage and JA's last season at Appalachian St is where I'm getting the JG vibe from. Some of Aguilar's highlights I watched after he committed here also made me think of Broadway J. View attachment 762255View attachment 762256

Tried reverse sear for the first time on a ribeye tonight. Seasoned generously with kosher salt and crushed black pepper and let it sit in the fridge for about 6 hours. Let it get up to room temp then put in oven at 225°F and pulled out at 120 degrees internal. 1 minute on each side in cast iron, then put some butter, fresh rosemary and thyme in the pan and basted and rendered the fat on the sides. Rested for 5 minutes. Best doggone steak I've ever tasted and perfect medium rare. There's no going back now I think.

Yeah but if you watch the film. He's way more accurate and way quicker at processing. Better Arm talent. He's also been clutch and won games which JG never did. schnapps to oranges.

Last year Aguilar averaged about 275 yards per game, and that was considered a bad year for him by some. Nico was just over 200.

I think he'll be able to be better than last year, even if he isn't as good as in '23. We'll win some games if he can maintain a 275 yard average and cut the ints in half (7). If he does that (it's realistic to think he will), we'll be right back in the hunt for a playoff spot.

Man, hate to see the news about Rondale Moore. Missed all of 2024 with dislocated knee in preseason practice with Falcons. Gets a 1 year deal with Vikings and on the first play, a return, he gets tackled out of bounds and tears his knee again.

With the link to dementia and I had started struggling a little with memory, I stopped it. My doctor scared me into it. My cholesterol was a little over 200 but was that when I was 18 and playing 3 sports and in the best shape ever. Plus my mom had the same issue and she’s 82. My BP is great with me in late 50’s. Since stopping, my memory is doing better. I may die with a heart issue but would rather have it then to deal with dementia
Are you saying that there is a link between statins and dementia? I had not heard of that. I would be interested in any information you have on that. I will look into it myself in the meantime. Thanks @JacketVol

Is da GLP1 Ozempic?

What you think about intermittent fasting? Will it take out my muscles?
Really depends on how much you fast and how few calories you’re getting each day. Need to figure out your basal metabolic rate and that will give you the calories you need for a sedentary day.
Exercise can mitigate some of the muscle loss of extreme dieting. But still have to be careful.
