Only on VN is insider status simultaneously a reason to believe what someone is saying, AND a reason NOT to believe what they're saying lol. It's almost like people will just believe whatever they want to believe.

Can't really recall a single time we've gotten any relevant insight from Ainge, Swain, Kyler Kerbyson... Any of the VFL media guys who get to see more of practice. On the other hand, VQ breaks news and puts up correct predictions routinely. So I think history is on my side with this one, pointless psy-ops from the coaching staff not withstanding.

Like I said, they are a mouth piece for our coaches and put out info that the coaches want them too. In return they get more recruiting and inside info. They do put out some good info too and get roster updates and recruiting news from our coaches. But if you don’t think they aren’t pushing coaching narratives and some false news then you are incorrect. How many times did we hear it was a QB competition when Milton got here? It wasn’t. But they don’t want that news out there so the coaches feed that to them and they release it to VQ.

Nico was a 1st year starter and we made the playoffs with him (only team to do so).

Milton was fine and is now on an NFL roster.

People have gotten way too greedy. And yes HH having the best season in UT history spoiled us greatly. No doubt.

Nico was okay against really weak competition, and he was a liability against good teams. We made the playoffs last year despite having Nico at QB because we had an excellent running game and a strong defense.

Took it more as an example of Heup being elite with QBs. Took a first year starter Fr QB to the playoff. Coached him to avoid catastrophes and keep the team in (most) games.

I think we will see that him getting to playoffs with Nico is fairly solid.

If defense or Sampson didn't have their A games we lost.

It was only the best season a QB has had at UT because.....of the system.

I can tell you right now after helping coach at MTCS (my high school alma mater as well), Jesse is a bit of a project. Honestly don’t see him making the 2-deep until maybe senior year. He is a bit slow and his footwork needs a lot of work. He also is just a super nice kid and he doesn’t really have that crazy tenacity that really good lineman have when on the field or in camp
