Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

I start by saying, I am all for anyone making as much money as they possibly can, no matter how much that amount may grow to be...especially if they are (in short) good at heart, work very hard, and take care of many. If someone can become a billionaire, my hat is off to you. And, I say this as the very definition of blue-collar. I built oil and gas pipelines for 20 years all over this country, as a member of Local 2 Sewer & Tunnel Minors Union, Chicagoland.

I've always lived by what my mom says...she being a woman who has education and nursing degrees, and has spent 45 years of her life either teaching kids or helping the sick. She always said, "Never had a job, that a poor man gave me". So, Im all about getting what you can get...especially, as i said, you work hard to get it.

But, this is not my commentary on money, class, economics, politics...none of that. I say all of that to say this...

Heard the other day on a podcast; and, I will also state, i have no idea if any of this is true, but...

Within a decade, there will be 5 trillionaires. With a trillion dollars, you could buy:

Every single NFL franchise, NBA franchise, every MLB and NHL franchise...3 times. Leaving you with enough money to buy Ford, GM, KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell.

After all of that, you'd still be worth $10 BILLION.

Most people can't wrap their minds around $1 Billion. A trillion?? No one can compute that...more than likely, even the trillionaires themselves.

That's insane.
I hate to break it to you, but I’d be willing to go a limb and say there’s already trillionaires. We just don’t hear about them because that’s how they want it. They control it all

Their jobs are to find contraband, celebtrity doesnt matter. My MiL is a horrible diabetic. She was patted down for 15 minutes in Denver Airport. Told her to get pre checked

Fun fact: a study done by the Dept of Homeland Security found that TSA agents missed finding dangerous items at a nearly 95% clip. Prohibited items (liquids, etc.) was closer to 80%. It boggles the mind to think that an agency so ineffective is allowed to continue to exist.

True. And I read on inequality.org all the billionaires in the US control $6.7 trillion in wealth

What is hard to wrap my mind around is that if the government could take all their money, and it retained its value in the process, that would cover the deficit for maybe 3 or 4 years, then it would be gone. And we’d still have the deficit

Ergo - they will have to come for all our wealth unless they get their arms around all that spending

Happy Chooseday

August 5, 2025: You will be able to finally solve nagging problems and move forward with a proverbial clean slate as you breathe a sigh of relief. Take this time to regroup and reestablish goals and intentions for the days ahead. You will soon be able to look back on these days with the wonder of supernatural blessings, says the Lord. Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

I'd like to know who's name is at the very top of the Pyramid. Blackrock? Vanguard, State Street? Who is the person who has the final say for them?

I'd bet you're right, but the trillionaires disguise themselves as corporations. Have you seen the graphs for who actually owns all the stocks in these huge corporations/conglomerates? Other huge competing corporations.

Larry Fink has a $1b net worth, but as the CEO of Blackrock he controls $10t in assets.

Ronald O'Hanley controls around $35t in assets.

There's what they want us to see and there's the reality that's disguised. They've built a cage and they're closing the door. We've been told what's coming and who's running the things of this world at the moment.
