Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

It's over. 0-12. Syracuse is gonna beat us so bad we are gonna close down the program.
I get confused on what is acceptable to discuss in preseason. We can still have an ok season, but have questions about a thin wr room and a qb battle at this time right? In the current environment a playoff birth could hinge on a single extra loss. So it isn't just people hand wringing a bad season it could be more like Ole Miss's season last year. They had a ton of talent in a lot of positions too.

Just my 2 cents

That wasnt what other's were arguing. I even stated it was a great play by Hood, on an under thrown ball. the other part of this was also to NOT malign MM, who really had no play on it. (Even though I didnt see him in the original video, he did appear).
Your quote was literally "Is it that, or a piss poor thrown ball?"

Need a few more practices to occur before jumping to conclusions, however, it would be nice for some of our insiders to share their thoughts on just how things feel so far.

Ok, not that it matters or anyone cares, but I’m permanently and completely discounting anyone’s football “opinions”, if they are making declarative statements about the upcoming season based on practice reports from the first few minutes of 4 preseason practices.

Edit* from MEDIA memebers. Good grief some of y’all
I agree with you. But also…

The original discussion was whether Hood's play was more about the piss poor thrown ball, or the play he made.

He can still make a nice play to adjust his body, and over the shoulder catch and 'make a nice play on the ball.'

The ball was still under thrown, and not a good throw. Stop looking for things that arent there. So yes, it was more about a piss poor thrown ball.

MM didnt have a play on it.

Once again, he (Mike Mathews) was there. in attendance. just so im ticking allll the angry FF boxes. I was wrong about that.

BTW, the News Sentinel even said he got injured. What is going on with the gnus?

we're not "hurting" anywhere, but LB is another position group in dire need of some kids stepping up this season... We struggled at times after Pili went down... especially with coverage...
Man, Pili was dominating out there. An underrated "what if" he didn't get hurt. Would've had an incredible season.

I’m gonna take credit for this idea as I was talking about it after the story of the long time season ticket holder.

Built up demand, lack of supply, and Ticketmaster and resellers are the ones profiting from it. More seats equals more season ticket purchases, more people on campus for game day which is more concessions and merch purchases, and lower resale values. Everybody wins. Make it happen DW!
Lol I’ve been talking about a 3rd deck for much longer than that 😅
