I had my $ on all the crying coming from a routes on air session. Didnt think it would come from 1 slightly under thrown ball and a QB who was so embarrassed that he went into "blur mode".Well, the '98 team didn't really develop a good passing game until the second half of the GA game, so yeah, it's kinda early.
I'm not saying '25 is going to have the '98 running game or defense, I'm just saying that it's mind-numbing to read all the hue and cry based on 15 minutes of viewing by the media where the completion rates against air are only 70% over the first four practices of the fall with essentially new quarterbacks and new receivers.
I suspect in many cases party leaders approached them. They have high name recognition and generally a demonstrated ability to talk to the media. No better or worse than a cabinet full of TV talking heads. It's just the world we live in.All these former coaches thinking they'll be good political leaders. Does it ever work out? Is this just narcissism because they must be in the spot ligt (as opposed to actually serving the people)?
