I was at Bristol at 8am to work the game. What a day. Rain never would go away. Got home a few minutes ago at 2:30.

Sucked watching everyone trying so hard to make it through the game. People that spent a lot of money. Families with kids. Dads and their sons. Etc. All for a fairly miserable night.

Let me ask a crazy question…

Why did artificial turf baseball fields revert back to having dirt on the infield? Seems like it would save a ton of headaches. The old school carpet over concrete played ridiculous but we’re 20-30 years past anybody playing on those death traps.
