I’ve missed the last couple of days here. @W.TN.Orange Blood, I’m still thinking about you and your family and hoping things are well.

Also, if you want to see a football game in person, I saw the other day in the RF that our game at Mississippi State this year has very low ticket prices (by today’s standards) and still available. I think Starkville is closer than Knoxville for you. Here’s the post: #4,859.

I went to a game there back in the 90s (Coach Majors) and really enjoyed it. Winning on the road as a Vols fan is a great experience. There are the damned cowbells to contend with, but there’s always something. Maybe you could take your son.

I really hope West Tennessee is gonna represent!

Biloxi is coming to play the Smokies this week. The reason I mentioned it is Blake Burke got promoted to AA .. Burke will be playing for the Biloxi team..,enjoy.
Awesome to see him play the Smokies! We get down to that coast sometimes. If the times work out, maybe I can see Burke play for Biloxi next season. And eat some oysters!

Hank Lauricella was a running back on General Neyland’s 1951 national championship team and runner-up for the Heisman Trophy that year.

The Lauricella Center for Letter Winners is adjacent to the team locker room in the north end of Neyland Stadium and serves as a destination for all Volunteer and Lady Vol letter winners and their families to gather before or after football games. This two-level room features a field-level view of Neyland Stadium and has a capacity of three hundred people. The room is named for former Vol great Hank Lauricella and his wife Betty in recognition of their leadership support of the Campaign for Neyland Stadium. The Lauricellas are both graduates of the University of Tennessee.

Thanks again @Orange !!

Damn. Bosox laying wood on the Astros… again. They got the brooms at the ready…
If the Rangers beat the Mariners today both of those teams will be 3.5 games back. Pretty cool that every division is up for grabs except maybe the AL Central. 8 games is a lot to make up this late in the season. It also makes the wildcard race more exciting.
