The actual data is a fact. It was higher in the fall to help the Democrats in the election and higher in the summer to help the fed validate their decision to maintain the rates. Fact. As stated above, it is part of the equation.

Absolutely. It's part of it. But there's as much stuff on the other side that's screaming no change. If someone says we need to ease by 25 basis points, then sure, it's reasonable. But those wanting to ease by 200-300 basis points arent living in reality...

Mojo already pointed out the data timeline. I am pretty sure you were talking final numbers after two revisions. Which had not occurred yet at the time of the election. As you said the actual data is a fact!

”Actual Data” refers to the data that is available at that point. Not the net data. Hence it was done with political malice intent Because it impacted decision before the net numbers came out. That is certainly what it appears. Pluse she was an Obama appointee with a dislike of President Trump. In other words, she is part of the Swamp.

The October jobs report (Released 11/1/24) was bad with a 12K increase. In addition, August and Sept jobs were revised down.

The November report (after the election) revised both the Sept and October jobs up.

The December report (after the election) revised October jobs up again.

Even the revised October number was significantly lower than ADP number for October

Well then it would appear the whole premise of your argument is wrong based on the initial release and update timeline that was replied back to you with 🤷‍♂️

And she was a career civil servant serving in multiple administrations. She was actually a Biden appointee to the post Trump fired her from. BTW she was confirmed with overwhelming bipartisan support in an 86-8 Senate confirmation vote. The deputy whom is now acting in the role was an Obama appointee.
