Isn’t the 01 team the one we beat 10-7 at Miami, even tho they had soldier boy😂
As others have said, 03.

01 we were going to play in the Rose Bowl for the NC after draining the Swamp last game of the season, until we laid an egg in the SEC Championship game and sent Neb out there to be embarrassed while we went to the Citrus Bowl and flogged Meatchicken.

That SECC game was one of the costliest losses in program history.

Yep, I’ve officially gotten the “sometimers”😢
First mistake I’ve made this year🫣

What the heck is a red zone? Why would Disney pay $1B for it.
It's the only way to watch NFL imo.

Way too many close games at once. Luckily my YoutubeTV sub owner has redzone, so I get it for free. Honestly wouldn't pay hundreds a year for it, as I rarely watch much NFL.

But I will say, if you watch a lot of NFL and not just one team, it is absolutely GOAT'd.

Had it been bama or uga the narrative would've been "Conference Title games won't impact bowl placement"

I was a wee lad then, so I don't remember it, but I've studied the ramifications. We likely don't fall off like we did and I think we at least play Miami pretty tough. We weren't that far behind in the talent category.

That's the one thing, Fulmer could somehow blow it with all that talent. I can't wrap my head around how we lost to a garbage Memphis team in 96. I don't think Heupel could possibly lose a game like that. Yes, the USCjr game was bad, but he hasn't come close to losing to G5 with a losing record and wouldn't.

Even in 99 they almost lost to Memphis again. I don't know how the offense could struggle that much, unless the talent gap wasn't near as big as it is now. Like UAB should be a comparable team and we could probably beat them running up the gut all day.
