I bet you can nab a comparatively inexpensive ticket for the opener in Atlanta. Or go Krogering. Just a suggestion. I understand your point. The sad part is, Danny White doesn't care if this guy ever goes to another game or not. I like what Danny has done for UT but he is all about raising money. The ultimate fan experience is not for all the fans. I know the counter points are "supply and demand" and "someone will buy them" and "there's a waiting list for tickets" but a 300% increase is ridiculous. There's a lot of lifelong fans, like me, that can't afford to go anymore. This NIL, greedy coaches, stupid buyouts, and plain old greed is ruining college sports.
Okay, didn’t want to do this because I don’t like for folks to suffer, but bashing boomers means that you can’t have your other hip replacement. Boomers designed all the THA systems and decided that you can’t have another one.Spoiled entitled boomers don't want anything to change. The pace of change in our world is increasing exponentially and the older we get, the less change we are willing or able to accommodate in our lives. My aunt talks about how my grandfather would probably not even watch CFB today with all the changes and he looooooved UT football and was at every game until he became physically unable to go. Older folks are going to be more and more upset but the teams that focus on making the older generation happy and neglect the younger gens will probably have less success in 10-15 years.
Mob of angry old men? So you, @InVOLuntary , @BaldBiker, @SergeantVol .... Anyone else?Okay, didn’t want to do this because I don’t like for folks to suffer, but bashing boomers means that you can’t have your other hip replacement. Oh and a mob of angry old men are now on the way to “repo” the one that you have now.
Good luck trying to outrun them. You will basically just run in little circles until they catch you.

I absolutely cannot believe that you left @Ulysees E. McGill off this list!

The element of surprise will only help in the first game it is rolled out. If you are going to be any good with it you are going to have to practice it a fare amount and if you do the word will eventually leak out anyway. It would have been far more effective if it wasn’t posted all over the internet for every opposing team to see.
I won't argue that it isn't getting out of hand, it is. I would guess there is more to this than what is being presented. Example is the new lower west club in Neyland. People were grandfathered into sweet prices in some cases and weren't going to part with them ever. DW wanted to improve that section, but had to break some eggs to make that omelet. The result is very nice, but now sells for far more than some were paying previously. Obviously people can relocate to cheaper seats, but they are still mad and vocal. The sad part is, Danny White doesn't care if this guy ever goes to another game or not.
