Hey Dugout family. Just dropped off my future son in law at the airport.

He is meeting 5 of his friends and they are staying somewhere near Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge for one of the guys bachelor party.

He asked me since I’m from Knoxville do I know any good restaurants and things to do in that area.They are all around 30 years old.

I said I’d ask my friends, you guys.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Also do you know of any other transportation options besides Uber? The rest of the guys are already there and they have a car.

I have always made stops at Gus’s Fried Chicken and Famous Dave’s BBQ. There are better restaurants I’m sure. But both are good.

I have always made stops at Gus’s Fried Chicken and Famous Dave’s BBQ. There are better restaurants I’m sure. But both are good.

For dinner I suggest The Peddler it's all the way at the end of Parkway in Gatlinburg,located on River road. A worker pushes the steaks around and he cuts it right there to be cooked by kitchen ...really nice place.a little pricey though.

Last one for your guys @MAD .. Calhoun's in Gatlinburg. You can eat and then walk about 1/4 of a mile and there is the Brewery in the same Complex ...

For the first time Mrs AV seems serious about moving from bammerland, and I am trying to be helpful as she deals with all the stuff from the storage unit and closetss that we should have parted with decades ago.
