We had a old goober looking guy just like one that tear up Don't Stop Believing during Karaoke on our last cruise...we were all laughing and saying this is going to be hilarious until he started singing..

He also tore up Faithfully, Open Arms, Wanted Dead or Alive, I'll be there for you, Living on a Prayer that week...dude was awesome.

Happy Monday - I think we all have that thing we need to do.

July 28, 2025: There are things you have been putting off because they require extra effort. Remember that putting them off does not make them go away. Take the proverbial bull by the horns and do what you need to do, and be done with it. Doing so will result in a deep sigh of relief and a sense of freedom. Proverbs 6:6-11 Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, which having no captain, overseer or ruler, provides her supplies in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest. How long will you slumber, O sluggard? When will you rise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep-so shall your poverty come on you like a prowler, and your need like an armed man.

Am I terrible person for thinking that he will, in fact, step down under the guise of “medical reasons” but it’s really just an excuse to save face so he can show up in Tampa by year’s end?
I think both things can be true. He 100% has legitimate medical issues that have been going on for a long time. A few years ago he had a multiple surgeries on his foot and had some toes amputated. However, I think it is possible that if he was still coaching his sons, it's something he decides to work through (kind of like how he did when he had the foot surgeries).

Seattle, like most large cities had good parts and rough parts. We were in the good parts mainly and still saw dozens of hunched people whacked out on drugs. It was heartbreaking. But you see that in a lot of major cities.
Yes you see homeless druggies in every large city (and small), but it's the ratio of otherwise normal working people to homeless druggies that make Seattle and San Fran stand out.

I'll belt out some tunes if you want, but I am going to need everyone to sign a non-litigation waiver before we get started. I cannot be held liable for any injuries that occur from my actual "singing", or the stampede that is certain to erupt upon initiation of the aforementioned "singing".

Whether you like Deion or not his Blood Clot issues are real and a dangerous situation... I myself have had blood clot issues over the last 15 years and it's not something to just laugh about.
Agree that health issues are no laughing matter. It is curious though that he chooses now to probably step aside. Why not 8 months ago when CO could have maybe gotten a coach?
