Boo dilemma: Does talent heal headaches?

Deon had some complications from his playing days. He did have some toes removed before coming to colorado. He has to get his legs massaged so he can walk decently

This is why I don't criticize the "player health" arguments. Some of these NFL players or long-time Football players in general have had serious health problems. I am a huge football fan but I am fine with adjustments to the rules to help the players.

Dooley was worse. At least Pruitt cared enough to cheat. And Pruitt has a good defensive mind (is a terrible HC). Lastly, his parting gift was Hendon Hooker. Dooley’s parting gift was a signing class with 0 olinemen.

I can’t think of any redeeming qualities for Dooley.

I disagree. I know Pruitt had some winning seasons but his schedules were easier. There are many games with Pruitt that I consider the worse performances in Tennessee football that I have seen:

1. Georgia State
2. BYU
3. West Virginia in 2017 (Just the lack of competitivity of the team)
4. Kentucky in 2020
5. Vanderbilt in 2017

I kind of felt like the West Virginia game was a sign that Pruitt wasn't going to work out. To be that unprepared to play in his first ever game was telling.

I honestly don't know enough about the situation to give a judgment. There could be something off-the-field with this guy that makes this more understandable. All we have is some media heads going on about him missing some voluntary work-outs.

Georgia State was the ultimate showing that he was a bum. A lot of these fluke games are just that flukes. That game wasn’t; we were outcompeted on both lines. Absolutely dominated at the point of attack that game. How do you get that throughly beat on LOS as an SEC team vs Georgia State?

I think BYU was even worse because it followed-up that embarrassing loss so there should have been "fire" to get the W. We also had a shot to win and blew it by giving up a long bust play that allowed BYU to tie. We had all the momentum in that game...

SEC programs do lay eggs against G5 squads though. Tennessee just hadn't done it since 1996 Memphis (yuck). People forget that Alabama lost to the likes of UCF, Northern Illinois, UL Monroe, Southern Miss (more than once), and Louisiana Tech (the last being the craziest because Alabama won the SEC that year).

Idk anything about the situation….but generally speaking….IMO…NO member of any organization/team is above any team/company rule, especially if said rule is consistently applied. I hope whatever is going on will be worked out but if, as reported, the team leadership has gotten involved it’ll be a gingerly task to accomplish. “Losing the Locker Room” is a real, metastasized, cancerous disease that’s impossible to overcome!🤷‍♂️ JMO

I can't wait to hear from Coach tommorrow on this situation. It's not wise to make judgements based on what someone wrote, or someone heard. I really hope this turns out to be a big big misunderstanding and false reports, and Boo Carter is 100% in and ready to give his alll for the Big Orange.

Based on all the (reported) missed summer workouts and team meetings, that 100% looks kinda shaky.

Knox sports radio morning guys. 99.1 on Monday (today) said that Boo is on campus and expected to be at media day Tuesday.
What? But what about Basillo who is such a good sports guy Tony V goes on his show???

There are millions of fans who hang on his every word because he is 'plugged in'.

Basillo? More like, Base-less-illo.
