It is. Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson (JBER). That's where I was stationed. I lived on the Air Force side for 1 of the 3 years I was up there.

Plenty to do. Anchorage is just like any other major city when it comes to restaurants/stores, just not as big lol.

Plenty of fishing/hiking or other outdoor activities to do.

Definitely need blackout curtains for the summer.

My son was disappointed when he found out he was going to Alaska. He is at Pensacola right now. How many hours is Elmendorf behind eastern time zone?

That Managing Negotiation "knowledge assessment" sucked azz. Not anything like I expected (based off what the professor said).

All but guaranteed an A+ in Managerial Accounting (I can not take Exam 2 and have get a B-).

No idea how Managing Negotiations is gonna turn out. I'm hoping for an A-. Worst case, it's the first B* in my academic
career.

*technically 2nd, as I had one from my Associates Degree. However, Austin Peay did not use that class in my transfer credits, so I was able to graduate APSU with a 4.0
