This is a new "screw you" that I had never heard of until I was this old.

"Congress created a remedy in bankruptcy that is free of guilt or wrongdoing and that simply says that if you got paid in the 90 days before the bankruptcy you have to give it back so it can be equally distributed amongst all creditors unless you meet one of these exceptions, which are primarily that they were paid in the ordinary course or that they were in exchange for new value provided."

So we have to return $21k to a client (the BR Trustee) that filed for bankruptcy even though they still owe us north of 75K and we miiiiiight get back around 10k.

I was killing it one day and pushed the water rising. Had to swim out. (was above the weir dam so it was more high at the time than fighting the current yet) That never happened again nor will it.

Dale Hollow trumps them all. For those who have not been there, go. Picture Norris with a few marinas and 0 homes. I strongly suggest using a GPS for your first couple of trips on the lake.

Love Smallmouth fishing there starting in November. Nothing like Smallmouth fishing on DH and listening to a UT away football game.

I agree, we go to DH 3-4 times a year. DH and Center Hill are my two favorite TN lakes.

My old company in Houston had over a million they had to write off for parts sales to PDVSA in Venezuela. I am thinking how it could of progressed so bad, as it obviously took time, and frankly was surprised it didnt put us out of business. Our sales were like $15M year.

We don’t have a big smallie population in Texas. I miss catching them. Pound for pound best fighting bass species out there.

So...I am getting laid off fellas. Looks like theyre gonna close the doors probably for good. Got a decent severance package though and my boss is gonna sell me one of the vans or trucks. He also spoke with our main lumber providers owner beforehand and has at least 1 lead for me for a Superintendent job for a smaller builder. Still trying to digest this and formulate a plan...i just got home from his house. Ive got plans with my daughter tonight too. So I have to be in ship shape in about 4 hours so that she has no idea. This situation isnt hers to worry about or even know about until I land another job if I can help it. Appreciate yall. Might not be back on today/night but I am OK and thankful for you guys.
