A Syrian was in here earlier pretending it was some form of evil that Israel has attacked the Houthis before. I’m sure he will refer to any counter attacks as a “veil of self defense”

Looks like AOC learned her lesson when she goes off of their script.




AOC’s office was vandalized overnight, likely because she recently dared to vote to fund Israel’s Iron Dome, a system that literally saves lives from incoming rocket fire.

This is what happens when you show even the slightest recognition of Israeli humanity: you get punished.

I want to believe this will open her eyes to what the “Free Palestine” movement really stands for. But I worry it’ll just teach her that even minimal support for Israeli civilians is too politically costly.

it was only one and probably a response to Israel blowing up their port to start the day

Houthis send drones and missiles pretty often majority get intercepted or land in no man’s land, I do remember 1 or 2 landing near a school last year though, Israel hits their infrastructure near ports. This has been a regular occurrence for the past 2 years

I'm aware. And Israel should absolutely end that option. Should we allow Jamaica to lob missiles at us even if we intercept them? No. Screw them. Make them yield.

I wasn’t disagreeing, just pointing out this isn’t out of the ordinary or news worthy.

Houthis attacks in the Red Sea were allowed to go on for far too long

Many know the famous photo/video of Grand Mufti Amin al-Husseini meeting with Hitler in Nov 1941, but he first met with Nazi officials on this date (July 21) in 1937.

That day, he met with German Consul Gen. Walter Dohle in Jerusalem to express his desire to align with the Nazis.

Afterward, Dohle wrote, “Palestinian Arabs in all social strata have great sympathy for the new Germany and its Fuehrer…”

The Mufti was put on the Nazi payroll to spread anti-Jewish propaganda throughout the Arab world (and later to recruit Muslim SS troops) shortly thereafter and until the fall of the Third Reich.

Meanwhile, the Mufti also met with Adolf Eichmann in Jerusalem just a few months later in Sept or Oct of 1937; and, based on war crimes testimony and the Eichmann trial transcripts, the Mufti and Eichmann maintained a close relationship.

The Mufti himself wrote in his memoirs:

“Our fundamental condition for cooperating with Germany was a free hand to eradicate every last Jew from Palestine and the Arab world. I asked Hitler for an explicit undertaking to allow us to solve the Jewish problem in a manner befitting our national and racial aspirations and according to the scientific methods innovated by Germany in the handling of its Jews. The answer I got was: 'The Jews are yours.’”

There were very few ”Jewish Parties” that supported the Nazi rise to power and none after 1939 other than individual collaborators trying to save their own necks. Terrible comparison on your part.

We (the USA) should stop that. It’s difficult to find an example where we haven’t made things worse

It’s a great example because the main party was banned in 1935 and the head of the party was sent to a concentration camp, many of the members and their families were killed. It Looks like you wouldn’t tell those guys that supported him to suck it up and deal with it. People often times do things that endanger themselves and others, doesn’t mean they aren’t deserving of empathy

100% you never root out the cause of the issue if you just give another radical group a bunch of guns and money to do dirty work for you. It just breeds more problems

But some people slurp it up and defend anything their side does

Any Jewish person or group that supported or even cooperated with the Nazi party after 1937 deserves no sympathy. The same goes for Gazians who didn't rise up against Hamas after 10/7, heck for that matter even years before when Hamas was stealing aid and supplies meant for the people.

We may disagree but at least you’re honest and consistent

I just think fear and Stockholm has a lot to do with it
